The short answer is no!! In this post I explain why not but also that it is walking a tightrope and it if falls it could sadly emerge as a failed state. What is a failed state? Mercy Ships has a significant and ongoing presence in Madagascar, providing free, life-changing surgeries and healthcare services via their hospital ships, particularly the Africa Mercy. Since 1996, Mercy Ships has conducted multiple medical missions in Madagascar, delivering surgical care, training local healthcare workers, and supporting community health programs.
